This might be a late..(very late) reply but your not allowed to kill General Vargas on previous missions. Heck, I bet you already beated the game 5 times I just answered for the sake of answering lol.

Anyway, I really love Der Langrisser and seeing it fully translated I will surely replay the game in the light path, only. I don’t feel like fighting against the light path.

I’ve been looking up on the internet about langrisser and it seems the series is dying… yes it’s now called Growlanser and it’s a branch of it but I miss Langrisser type of games.

If anyone know any games similar to Langrisser please recommend it to me.

i played a partially translated patch of this game till scenario 7 where you could chose wether to join leon or not. now i played your patch (great work btw) and i couldn’t make the choice to join him or not, the option was not in the dialogue (you just don’t follow him). is this normal? i killed the undead on the right myself so leon didn’t help (don’t know if that has anything to do with it)

It’s an all-or-nothing situation.

Mine was not that size, so I guess I had to remove the header. There were no instructions on how to do that, so I googled and found this tool:

Which I used to remove the header and then, finally, I was able to apply the patch. Hope that helps anyone.

And admin, the process was not as simple and foolproof as you guys hoped it would be. Perhaps byuu can add the function to remove rom header to his patch tool.

If you care about that kinda thing, it was made in QuarkXpress 7.0 and typeset in the Bitstream Vera family of free fonts.
