lester “well, anyway, we need to talk. its about your leaving Jessica.” is this ok or should it be ‘its about you leaving Jessica’

end of scenario,

lester “Farewell, Brother … Don’t … worry, Jessica … You can take this … asshole …”

When you choose to defeat Boser, you get to Scenario 14 where you have to defeat Imelda. Anyway, at the start of the scenario, there’re some typos:

1. Lester: How fortunate.

-> Would be better to end that with an exclaimation mark.

2. Imelda: Don’t wast time with your worthless excuses!

-> waste

Anyway, I’ve decided to defeat Bernhardt instead to go to Scenario 25 where you have to defeat Esto and Osto.

3) So at the end of Scenario 13, Boser says: As I would expect from Descendants of Light!

-> Should there be a ‘the’ before Descendants?

4) Also, whether you choose to defeat Boser or Bernhardt, the party will talk about Alhazard and what it can do etc. Then it gets to this part:

Jessica: I will go ahead to search out Alhazard’s revival ceremony.
Jessica: The rest of you, please depart for Velzeria.
Erwin: All right…
Lester: Velzeria lies across the sea.
Lester: A port city lies just down the road. We can find a boat there.

All good so far. Then:

Jessica: I’m one step ahead of you. Let’s go to Velzeria.
Jessica: Lester, show us the way to Velzeria, please. (she disappears)

-> I’ll be? I don’t know, but it will seem to make more sense that way, since she did say that she’ll go ahead to locate the revival ceremony. And due to the fact that Jessica’s not going together with them as she can teleport and stuff (and did it anyway), it’s not very logical for her to ask Lester to “show us the way”. But I could be wrong. Also, although ‘Let’s go to Velzeria’ is technically correct, maybe we can say “Let’s head for Velzeria!” because that makes Velzeria more of a goal than just a place. Just my 2 cents =) So in the end, my suggestion is:

Jessica: I’ll be one step ahead of you. Lester, show them the way to Velzeria, please.
Jessica: Let’s head for Velzeria!

Only checked the tile in 13, and it was good.

1. In Imperial 13, when Scott dies: “If I’d been a bit stronger, Many would still be alive …” The word “many” doesn’t need a capital “M.”

2. A commander says, “A welcoming committee,” but he’s dying

3. In the intro to Imperial 14:

Despite their best efforts, the
Kalxath forces were nothing to
Erwin and his company.
They took Salrath with ease.

It’s not Kalxath, it’s Salrath. Suggestion: “Despite their best efforts, Salrath fell with ease to the might of Erwin and his company.”

Now I’m at Scenario 13 where I can choose to defeat either Boser or Bernhardt. So, which light scenario branches have been tested so far? I’ll then play the ones people have not tested yet =) Because I don’t recall any other further instructions on which pathways to go since the one instruction about Scenario 7 (going on the Light pathway) during the start of the game. Unless I’m not aware of them lol……..

Basically I managed to finish the scenario before Jessica appears (either by killing all enemies or taking Langrisser first). I just wanted to point out that when the scenario ends, the party talks about taking on Rayguard and then, Jessica who did not manage to make her cameo appearance soon enough suddenly says that she’ll lead ‘a diversionary platoon against Rayguard etc’. Just in case there is something which can be done about that =)

And perhaps you would like to change the punctuation for Jessica’s line: “Now, on to

Castle Rayguard.” to “Now, on to Castle Rayguard!”

Brace yourselves, ’tis a long one.

1. At the end of the Intro:

The Descendants of Light, declaring total war on the Empire, are about to clash again.

This sounds as if the Descendants were about to clash with each other, which is not entirely wrong; but still, Erwin pretty much stops being a Descendant when he chooses the Empire. Consider:

... are about to clash with Erwin and company again.

At the beginning of Scenario 10, the swordsman commander says something about ‘even with our bare hands, we shall who them off!’ to which the highlander commander responds “Argh!”. I am aware that it’s intended to be a battle cry, but perhaps and the highlander commander responds with “Argh!”. I am aware it’s supposed to be a battle cry, but perhaps a “Yes sir!” might be more appropriate

I’ve found it!

It’s not in the game at all … When checking the Langrisser II Megadrive scripts, I located the same text. Then I beat Langrisser II just to test. It is a second ending scene missing in Der Langrisser, where it shows you how many turns you took to beat each scenario.

This is likely a holdover much like “Mystery Knight,” which also appears in the Der Langrisser scripts despite not being in the game.

So, we can rest easy. This text isn’t going to show up to bite us in the ass post-release. I’ve formatted it matching how it would appear in the Megadrive game, just as a precaution.
