Beta test ended
It’s Friday here in China.
The beta test is over.
The scripts are finalized.
Don’t tell me about any new bugs right now or I will kill you.
I’m working on the manual.
Let’s hope this happens.

Damn You are crazy people! Why do You live in China? Human life isn’t very valuable in China, You will be executed pretty easily.. That’s just sick..
June 7th, 2007 at 5:42 pm
Don’t waste yourself over it. I am sure everyone is happy and appreciative that you have done this in the first place. Best of luck!
June 7th, 2007 at 7:11 pm
Gee I come back everyday without knowning you are in China? I’m flying to Beijing soon and I’m dreaded by that place: traffic, grey grey sky; /shiver.
Anyway, good work, Jiayou~

D - as per usual, send me the manual to review if you like for any last-second edits.
The usual gmail address will work, but if I’m in MMO-land (quite likely), use erickei AT pol DOT com. Nobody ever uses that address, so I’ll know it’s you, I’ll logout and come see.

Samuli: Did you eat wall candy as a child, or do you just watch too much FOX news? I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. I grew up in Detroit, and this place is paradise by comparison.
Vincent: It’s been getting a bit better lately. Sky is less gray since they shut down the rest of the steel factories and blast furnaces, but the traffic is just insane now. 3 million motherfuckers in the city have a car now. They expect 4 million by the Olympics.

Derrick: Happy to hear if that is the truth.. Just a while ago I saw a news article which said that China is going to execute their food safety minister.. Guess he put wrong ketchup for hamburgers or something else and is making safer food in heaven now.. =D

“China has executed more people in the past three months than the rest of the world in the past three years, says Amnesty International.” - BBC news
“China has secretly executed a man who protested against the controversial Pubugou dam project” - BBC news
And You say that people are not living in a fear of execution in China? =D

“China has executed more people in the past three months than the rest of the world in the past three years, says Amnesty International.” - BBC news”
I bet if you adjusted for the fact that China has 4 1/2 times as many people as the US, it wouldn’t be quite as impressive — though they’d still top us. And if you adjusted against Texas alone, where China has 565 times as many people, I bet Texas would take the lead. If not, I’m sure we can let George W. know that there’s plenty more mentally challenged people in the jail system there he can execute to take the lead.
“And You say that people are not living in a fear of execution in China? =D”
It looks like ~600 a month are executed there, whereas ~20,000 people die there each month in fatal car accidents. Using your logic, more people should be afraid of cars than their government. Hell, even lightning strikes should cause people to live in mortal fear, with ~1,600 struck in China alone each month.
… or perhaps it would be best if we didn’t choose to discuss global politics in a translation release thread. What do you say? I’m sure freerepublic.com would love to agree with you on your points presented here.
June 8th, 2007 at 1:41 am
It’s been a pleasure.
June 8th, 2007 at 1:44 am
Right You are Byuu, this is going just a little off topic.. =D Anyway I couldn’t be more happyer about the translation, so thanks guys! No execution for You guys! =D
June 8th, 2007 at 2:06 am
Heyheyhey it’s funny the thread turned into politic talks but whatever.
Hi to Frances it’s nice whether here in Brisbane~
@Derrick Dare I ask why are you so fond of Beijing(?)? I was born in Beijing but didn’t like it compared to the sunny state here.
Flying from the country of tree-huggers to the red communist country.

Vincent: Move to Michigan. Specifically, Detroit. You will understand instantly. Also, Beijing today is considerably different from Beijing 20 years ago, and even Beijing 10 years ago. I’ve watched TV series filmed here in the 90s and the air was translucent, not transparent. It looked like the actors were walking in a cloud. As I said, it’s not like that now. As an added bonus, there are no Christians here. People are generally nicer, and no one wants to shoot you or sue you.
If you actually believe China has anything to do with socialism or communism now, aside from rhetoric, you really are either out of the loop or buried in US propaganda. It’s more capitalist than Canada, though it still can’t shake a stick at the US Empire.
Samuli: Perhaps you missed the part about him being executed for covering up several major contaminations and laundering several billion yuan in government funds that were disbursed for public works? Most of these high-profile executions are of people who earned it. To be that high in that Party and still get executed, you have to have done something BAD. Normally when officials fuck up, they just transfer them to the boonies.
June 8th, 2007 at 2:36 am
Derrick: Maybe You could get a job from Beijing’s travel agency, it seems it would suit You well.. =D
June 8th, 2007 at 2:38 am

June 8th, 2007 at 3:58 am
Ummm… Is it just me or does it seem like Samuli is actually waiting for D to respond to whatever witty comment Samuli makes towards D???
June 8th, 2007 at 6:47 am
